Thread Lifts using PDO Threads are a unique facial rejuvenation procedure that elevates sagging facial skin without the need for surgery, scars, or general anesthesia. It is a simple, in-office procedure to re-contour the face of our patients by elevating the deeper layers of the skin.
Silhouette InstaLift® is a non-surgical facelift procedure that uses advanced Micro-Suspension Technology to lift your cheeks in an instant while adding volume over time for up to 2 years. InstaLift is the only absorbable suture for cosmetic facial procedures authorized for sale by Health Canada.
The Micro Suspension TechnologyTM works by immediately lifting your facial skin, including sagging cheeks and deep nasolabial folds. Then the suspension technology boosts volume by activating your natural collagen production over time for up to 2 years.
This procedure is performed on the cheeks to lift and add volume to the face.
Absorbable sutures containing the Micro Suspension TechnologyTM are inserted into the cheeks. The procedure takes under an hour and gives lasting results for up to 2 years.
There is local anesthetic injected in tiny amounts at two points of exit per thread & one point of entry.
InstaLift has minimal downtime with most signs of treatment (ex: bruising, swelling, and tenderness at the treatment site) dissipating within 24–48 hours.
Like all procedures of this type, there is a possibility of adverse events, although not everybody experiences them. These adverse events include but are not limited to infection, minimal acute inflammatory tissue reaction, pain (which may be temporary or persistent in nature), swelling and edema, transient hematoma or bruising, and transient rippling or dimple formation.
