The Cutera® LimeLight® hand-piece feels warm on your skin and after treatment, your skin can feel like you have a mild sunburn for 3-4 hours. Freckles can look like coffee ground particles that fall off in days.
There is no “downtime” required; you can return to your normal routines and activities immediately. Treatments are customized to your specific skin type and color, providing the best possible results. Results are long-lasting. Maintenance is very much like hair trimming except not as frequent. You can maintain it annually.
After treatment, there are minor signs of treatment, such as redness, darkened pigmentation, or blotchiness that can last from a few hours to a few days. The treated skin is more sun-sensitive for two to three weeks. Results are long-lasting, usually a year or longer.
This treatment is best suited for untanned skin. Therefore, fall, winter & spring are best suited for this treatment. Always advise us of special upcoming events in your life. The use of sunscreen is recommended on any treated areas exposed to the sun. It is always a good idea to limit your sun exposure.
Patients of moderate skin tone Fitzpatrick I-1V are usually the best candidates.
